Our story

Don Gato was born on the malecón of Topolobampo as a Baja-style seafood taquería: fresh catch from the bay, corn tortillas and house-made salsas.

Over time, the octopus tacos, aguachile tostadas and cucarachas made us a must-stop for anyone visiting the bay. Today you’ll also find us on a terrace in the heart of Los Mochis.

We work with a network of local suppliers: the freshest catch of the day, seasonal produce and sustainable practices that support the region’s producers.
